Colortech is a PPM company and a North American-based manufacturer of color and additive concentrates for the plastics industry. As a leading polymer concentrates supplier, our products are used in a wide range of consumer items, from everyday household items like food packaging and toys, to industrial materials like conduit, wire, twine and more. We believe in trust-driven relationships with our customers, and we back up our promises with exceptional industry knowledge, high-quality products and outstanding service.

Our History
 
1981
Colortech was founded in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. PPM was founded in Germany the same year.
 
1986
The first Colortech facility in the U.S. was opened in Morristown, Tennessee.
 
1996
Colortech was acquired by Polyplast Müller.
 
2003
Colortech acquired Eastman Chemical’s masterbatch business.
 
2014
Colortech opened its 2nd facility in Morristown.
 
2016
Colortech celebrates 35 years in business.
 
2019
Colortech opened its Innovation Center in Morristown.

Leadership

Alex Rom-Roginski

President

Alex started with Colortech in 1987 as an engineer and became President in January of 2002. Prior to Colortech, he worked as an engineer for NOVA Corporation, Gulf Oil, and Hydro One. Originally from Toronto, Alex is an Honors graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. He currently serves on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations.

Adam Rankin

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Adam Rankin has been with Colortech since 2001 and has worked in numerous roles, including production management and procurement. Since moving to the commercial side of the business in 2010, he has led multiple regions and now serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for all of North America. Prior to joining Colortech, Adam served his country as an officer in the U.S. Army. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy (West Point) and an MBA from the University of Tennessee.

Will Anjowski

Director, Research & Development

A 25-year Colortech veteran, Will Anjowski joined the company in 1994 in a Quality Management & Technical Support role. He became Technical Services Manager, North America in 1997, and was promoted to Research & Development Director in 2007. Prior to joining Colortech, Will spent several years in the packaging converter industry at ACF Flexible in Toronto, as well as more than a decade at the Polymers and Films divisions of C-I-L Polymers/AT Plastics.

Will graduated with an Honours Bachelor’s of Science in Organic Chemistry from the University of Waterloo in 1981. He completed his MBA at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto in 1997. He has participated in a number of committees and presented papers and joint presentations for the Society of Plastics Engineers, the PLACE division of TAPPI and a number of industry technical conferences.

Beth McGhee-Folsom

Director of Regulatory Affairs

A 35-year manufacturing industry veteran, Beth joined Colortech as a process engineer and lab manager in 1994. Since then, she has held positions in manufacturing, QA, supply chain and many other departments across the organization.

Beth graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor’s in Textile Engineering. Prior to joining Colortech, she worked for BASF as a senior process engineer in synthetic fiber production. She currently serves on the executive board of the PLASTICS Industry Association Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Packaging Materials Committee (FDCPMC) and as secretary on the board of the United Way of Hamblen County.

Allison Wilson

Director of Procurement

Allison joined Colortech as the Senior Procurement Manager in 2022 and was promoted to Director of Procurement later that year. With a career serving in purchasing roles at a prominent automotive industry supplier and in sales for the aerospace industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge to Colortech. Her expertise includes strategic purchasing, negotiation, supplier performance management, and supply chain diversity.

Allison studied engineering at Walter’s State Community College.

Professional Development

Based on two of our Guiding Principles, Continuous Improvement and Employees, Colortech offers numerous opportunities for professional development throughout the year, including lunch-and-learns, in-house training courses and seminars, and attendance at public seminars, courses and conferences. We also offer a tuition reimbursement programs for continuing education, as well as customized experiential learning opportunities that include team building and management training.

Team Colortech

Team Colortech was proud to participate again this year in the Annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Brampton. Employees and their families are encouraged to come out and walk, run or bike in this community event. The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held in numerous regions around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist, Terry Fox, and his Marathon of Hope, and to raise money for cancer research.

Company Sporting Events

Get in the game! Colortech is all about team-building, and each year, we have company sponsored sports teams. In addition to men’s, women’s and coed volleyball teams, and men’s basketball and softball teams at our Morristown location as part of a local parks and recreation department league, we also sponsor and participate in individual events such as 5K and 10K runs and walks.
