MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (April 11, 2022) – Colortech has earned a silver medal for Sustainability from EcoVadis, one of the world’s most notable business sustainability ratings and assessments providers. This is the second time the manufacturer of color and additive concentrates has submitted a report for evaluation after receiving a bronze rating in 2020. 

The assessment evaluates performance across 21 indicators in four main themes: environment, labor, and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. In this year’s review, Colortech showed significant improvement in environmental stewardship to push the score to silver by improving energy efficiency through facility upgrades and establishing a reporting system for key sustainability metrics, including the release of its inaugural sustainability report.

The silver medal recognizes Colortech as among the top 25% participants that completed the well-known sustainability assessment. EcoVadis has assessed over 90,000+ companies globally by addressing potential risk factors and guiding participants on ways to improve sustainability, social, and ethical goals to create a brighter future for this and future generations.
