Colortech secures EcoVadis Silver Sustainability Rating

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (April 5, 2023) – Colortech has been awarded a silver rating by EcoVadis, a globally-recognized provider of business sustainability ratings and assessments. This rating demonstrates the manufacturer of color and additive concentrates commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

EcoVadis assesses companies on four main themes of sustainability criteria, including environmental impact, labor and human rights practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Colortech improved its overall score from the previous year, showing significant improvements in sustainable procurement and scoring above the industry average in every theme. This year's score placed Colortech in the 82nd percentile of all companies assessed by EcoVadis.

Colortech achieved a silver rating thanks to its comprehensive sustainability strategy, which includes reducing its environmental footprint through an effective tracking system, implementing sustainable sourcing and establishing a Code of Conduct, and ensuring ethical and fair labor practices throughout its supply chain.

"We are pleased to have seen an improvement in our EcoVadis score," said Colortech's Director of Regulatory Affairs Beth McGhee-Folsom. "We believe that every company has a responsibility to reduce its environmental footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future. As we remain committed to continuous improvement, we are eager to take the feedback from this year's report and remain focused on implementing positive change throughout every aspect of our business."

This is the third year Colortech has submitted a report for evaluation, earning a silver rating in 2022 and a bronze in 2020. Colortech will continue to work towards further sustainability improvements and looks forward to sharing its progress with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
