Sylvia Tharp joined Colortech in December 2023 as the Human Resources Manager and was promoted to Director of Human Resources in October 2024. With over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), she brings a wealth of expertise in Employment Law and OSHA/TOSHA regulations.

A proud native of Hamblen County, Sylvia has served in numerous leadership roles within her community. She has been actively involved with the boards of MATS and HC Excell, served as a Morristown Chamber Ambassador, and has also mentored for TN Achieves. Additionally, Sylvia is a member of Women in Business and serves as President of the Lakeway Human Resources Association.

Her deep commitment to both her professional career and community involvement drives her success in fostering positive workplace environments and supporting workforce development.
