Stiffening Agents

Colortech stiffening agents include a broad range of material possibilities to obtain increased modulus in plastic films, sheet or molded articles. Mineral and additive combinations can be used to increase stiffness in polyolefins, styrenics and newer polymers such as PLA or PBS. Unique mineral or nanomaterial combinations can provide improved part stiffness and improve other physical properties including creep resistance, ESCR improvements and heat resistance. Functionalized mineral combinations can also be modified to provide improved toughness, abrasion resistance or paper-like qualities in a polymer base.
