Colortech concentrates designated as:
- FDA concentrates comply with United States Food and Drug Administration guidelines for use in food packaging applications. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to determine the limitations of use (if any) for a particular product.
- Heavy metal-free (HMF) concentrates meet The Model Toxics in Packaging Legislation (formerly known as CONEG legislation). Lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium are not intentionally used in these products. In addition, the sum of incidentally introduced lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium totals less than 100 parts per million.
- Heavy metal-based colorants (HM) are primarily recommended for use in durable goods applications.
